Renault Kangoo Freedom/Finesse Car

Created under Renault quality control, the wheelchair accessible Renault Kangoo Car range carries up to 5 people including driver and 1 wheelchair passenger in style and comfort.

There are two models in the range - The Kangoo Finesse and the Kangoo Freedom. Both models come with a full Renault warranty and nationwide after sales support.

The Kangoo Finesse

  • The rear floor area is lowered to give an internal height of approximately 57" (1450mm)to facilitate a more comfortable ride with clear vision for the wheelchair passenger
  • A lightweight fold down ramp at the rear makes entry & exit of wheelchair easy
  • The design retains Renault's own rear suspensions
  • The wheelchair is secured at the front by electrically operated restraints and rear webbing straps
  • A lap and diagonal seat belt protects the wheelchair passenger
  • The specification also includes interior lighting and fire extinguisher
  • Two single folding, adjustable and removable seats in matching trim, are mounted behind the front seats, with lap and diagonal belts

The Kangoo Freedom

  • The rear floor area is lowered to give an internal height of approximately 57" (1450mm) to facilitate a more comfortable ride with clear vision for the wheelchair passenger
  • The modified rear suspension allows the ramp to deploy automatically as the vehicle is lowered to the ground. The ramp is stowed away at the push of a button as the vehicle returns to the normal driving position
  • The design retains Renault's own rear suspension
